Turkey’s death toll from the coronavirus outbreak increased by 75 to 649 on April 6, while the number of confirmed cases from the disease rose by 3148 to 30,217, the Health Minister said.

So far, a total of 1,326 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, while 1,415 patients are currently under intensive care units, Koca said.

The number of intubated patients was 966, according to the infographic shared by Koca on Twitter.

He added that 21,400 tests had been carried out in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of tests carried out in Turkey to 202,845 since the outbreak began.

“The daily tests will reach 30,000 soon. The rate of increase in the number of our recovering patients continues. The increase in the number of cases is low compared to the increasing number of tests,” Koca said.
