Turkey’s confirmed cases of the coronavirus increased by 3,083 in the past 24 hours, and 117 more people have died, taking the death toll to 2,376, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on April 22.

Turkey’s total confirmed cases stood at 98,674, according to the graphic Koca shared on Twitter.

Some 1,559 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, Koca added.

The total number of recovered cases stood at 16,477 as of April 21.

Koca also said 37,535 tests were conducted over the past day, with the overall number of tests reaching 750,944

Turkey is currently treating 1,814 patients in intensive care units, along with 985 incubated patients, Koca added.
